Tamales.
A friend of mine is from Mexico. Every couple of months, he takes orders and his family makes a couple of hundred tamales.
$15.00 a dozen. They come wrapped in foil and in a paper bag. My order had my name on the bag and a "Q"
Ahhhhhhh...Queso! (cheese) and jalapeño!! A dozen chicken tamales also. Sour cream and Tapatío is a must. Sweat develops on the back of my neck...
How can something so simple be so good?
I'm only having one right now....could not wait till dinner time!
