Hmmm,
Been kinda lean lately,
{looks in the larder}

I got fried snake hips,
a bowl of chicken lips,
cow chips,
and possum dip.

And anything I see freshly killed on the road.
If it's been run over more than once, it'll already be tenderized. :tongue3:

Best,
Scott

Re: What's For Dinner?

Well, Folks,
Tonight it's a bit more palatable:
My locksmith associate called me up after I got out of classes this morning and needed help making a key for an '86 Subaru Brat. Total steering column breakdown! The ignition has a roll pin and, well never mind. Piece of cake.
So, He bought me lunch at a nice Chinese spot and for dinner I have leftover General's Tso's Chicken.
YEAH, gonna make some more rice and some hot green tea to go with it. Already ate the fortune cookie....said something about things are gonna start coming my way. ::) I'm STILL waitin'...

Best,
Scott

Re: What's For Dinner?

Grilled cheese burgers with thick slice of home grown tomatoe.
Oven baked home made sweet tater fries and cottage cheese.
We are stuffed.

Re: What's For Dinner?

bbq,
That sounds like a dinner full of good stuff for the heart! I haven't had my version lately--grilled cheese cheese burgers, home-made french fries with tons of salt (told you it was good for the heart. Cholesteral? Pfft..).
Gonna have to put it in the rotation again! Along with the labor intensive "pig in the blankets." Cheap and filling! Oh, and the possible condiments? The Sky's the limit Guys! :headbang:

Very Best,
Scott

Re: What's For Dinner?

Hmmmm....
Seems there's a "hot potato" here in the mix....
I like potatoes; baked, hash browns, french fries, scalloped....How do you like 'em? They're cheap and easy to work into a meal!
What up y'all?
What's for Dinner?
Best,
Scott

Granny,
If something is going my way, well, I better just wake up and get ready for school 'cause it was just a dream...
I am working hard by going back to school to live my dream. How 'bout y'all?

Break out of the ordinary! Do something different, something that you've never done before----like telling a total stranger that you love them, or volunteering your time for Kids, whether it be in an academic setting or a sports setting, be a part of life. Your Life. How can you be a positive impact on others' lives? Make it positive! Be a part of societies future. What can you offer?
Do you give a man a fish or do you teach him how to fish?
How about a warm meal to the hungry?
A coat to the cold? Or just a kind word for the down....

My Best To You,
Scott

Re: What's For Dinner?

We cooked almost 300 pounds of pork butt last week for folks supper at the local fair.

My bbq teammates trimming the butts before rubbing.

Wrapping them at 160 internal temp., back into the pit until an internal temp. or 200 degrees.
They were pulled and made into huge sandwiches.

We sold out early Saturday morning.
