whats does everybody here do for work?

Serial internet entrepreneur and part-time wheeler-dealer of anything lucrative and legal. Haven't been an "employee" since high school and absolutely love the freedom to do whatever I want whenever I want (within reason), as the money flows in regardless of what I'm doing. I can't imagine being some chump stuck working under a boss and adhering to a rigid schedule for the best decades of my life in exchange for a predictable paycheck. Dunno how most people can handle it, but us 20-somethings and younger folk have been indoctrinated via state sanctioned educational propaganda with the idea that you're supposed to get an education attractive to employers. We were never told that we could think for ourselves, do our own thing, and be our own bosses. The whole system is a sick joke. It is sad seeing so many bright peers under-utilize their abilities because they don't know how to go out and grab liberty by the horns and become their own masters. If more people thought for themselves then America would be in a far better condition than it is presently. I have a lot of respect for those who go out and chase their own dreams.

I am officially retired. What have I worked at in the past? Just about everything but the professions like doctor, lawyer, and Indian Chief. What do I do now? Live in the shadows while looking for that last big cache. Frank...

Engineer for an oil & gas company that operates offshore in the Gulf of Mexico. Find myself on a helicopter at least once a month heading offshore to make sure my automation projects are headed in the right direction. I really enjoy my career. :icon_thumright:

I do small odd jobs such as crossword puzzles and reports on numerous topics. Despite working nearly 8 hour days with no pay (Not by choice) currently, I am hopeful to get a paying job in the near future.

I'm a high school student. Yay!
It's a weird thing to do, if you think about it. Forced into child labor to complete things such as crossword puzzles and algebraic equations for people who get paid to make me do it. I think I have the strangest job on here. (don't hold me to my word on that!)
