The company I work for mostly obtains contracts in the Midwest so for the past 18 years I've primarily worked in Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Wisconsin, and New York. I work in the field when the weather permits and do a lot of writing and research during the other months. In fact, I got into metal detecting just prior to college, then studied archaeology when I got there.
