I have several 1911's , 3 - .45 caliber, one .22, one a bb blowback, one airsoft blowback (for practice and teaching kids and wife). I love shooting them. But I really love my lever action 45-70's , I have a marlin guide gun (18" barrel), and marlin CB 45-70 - 26" barrel, the marlin cb just brings you back to the old western movies, feels like you are in one. I went from high tech long range rifle with scope (7mm short mag and 270 win.), back to the old style iron sights, old calibers, just couldn't justify shooting game out 500-800 yards + and call it hunting anymore. I used to guide alot as well. Oh and I just got a .44 lever action with 18" barrel , so much fun to shoot! Heck furthest I ever killed a deer was like 450ish yards anyways , most were well under a 100 if not under 50, just stalk them and get close. " Hunt them"..

I shoot a Rossi model 461 2".357 revolver when I conceal carry....Mossberg 500 if you come knocking at night.....marlin Model 60 .22 rifle for rabbits and squirrels....

I am an avid sporting clays shooter so I like my Browning Citori over-under. I also enjoy shooting my Dan Wesson .357 revolver. It is a very accurate pistol.

My ar15 I personally built mostly Yankee Hill Machine parts. Shoots so nice. For hand guns that would be my
Kimber ultra carry chambered in 45. Great gun

Smallbore target rifle for me. Informal bench and prone @ 25, 50 and 100 yards.
My favorites are a Win 52C heavy that's as old as I am, a Rem 40xb heavy, and a couple of '70s Anschutz Match 54s, all with proper target sights (not scoped). Still need to pick up a nice BSA Martini International...

This is cute..

Now IF I were into building an arsenal I'd go with 3 weapons.

Mosen-Nagant 91-30 for pure power, long range, durability, and inexpensive ammo

AK-47 with a 50 round drum, durability, and inexpensive ammo

.45 ACP 1911 - always had a love for those thug stoppers

I like shooting waterfowl. Got me an old Mossberg 500 for big stuff and a smalbore double barrel for target league.

For those of you into self-defense, there is an old saying. I forget who said it first , but it has some truth to it.-

'Your pistol is for fighting your way to your shotgun and your shotgun is for fighting your way to your rifle."

Roosters!! I'll chase a pheasant across 3 counties just to get a shot. I carry a Remington 870 express; I prefer plastic so I can drag it thru brush and barbed wire without feeling guilty.

My newest woman is a custom built ar platform 450 bushmaster if you haven't seen much of them, do some youtubeing
I also have a 223,308,17, six 22's three 12 ga's one 20 ga a 410, 45 cap and ball, 9mm and a really fun Ruger mark 3 22 bull barrel. I'm sure there's more I'm forgetting

Careful Now. This will get you a Police Record, a Suspension from school,
And probably a few years with a head shrink if used in or near a School Or school Bus.

Make sure to wear a Helmet Safety goggles & Make sure everyone within 500 feet
signs a Waiver to be there.

the state of California may have more Warnings

Well, my other hobby besides MD'ing, shooting, have to say combat shooting with my Sig P229 9MM. Hey jeff of pa, those rubberband guns were popular when I was in school but back then you got caught and sent to the vice-princpal's office for the "talk" about being dangerous and not to do that again. Guess I am showing my age.

Crossman 760 has brought me many years of fun plinking at a low cost. Everything else is for defense or food.

You know... I've been collecting crosman for a long time. Had a 760 as a kid. Have lots of air rifles. The one I don't have is the 760. I think the 760 would feed you rabbit and squirrel and Dove.. I need to add one to my collection.
