What should i do

What that shows me is that Treasure Hunter obviously knows and trusts the person with whom the OP done the transaction with. I believe this person (you can correct me if i'm wrong TH) is just a long time charter member selling a personally owned item/s, not an actual "sponsor". That being said, if you are on here selling as a "supporting vendor" or an "independent dealer" then customers should be able to discuss dealings they had with you, good or bad, shouldn't they? Isn't that the American way? You know, word of mouth, the world's best and cheapest advertising. That's how you build a business (or run one into the ground).

I'm just glad everything worked out alright for the OP.

Diggum, you are correct, it is a CM, not a vendor, vendor is a different case.

I have never met the member in question in person but have communicated many times through PMs and we have talked on phone many times, although it has been at least 8 months since last phone call since he is overseas, I knew he is trustworthy....

Well I stand corrected. Hats off to Treasure Hunter for going the extra mile here. Even though it was not needed, to actually offer a refund of a sponsor is more than I would expect from any site. I have seen more than one deal go wrong here, so my comments were based on that. Communication and time it takes to ship should have been in the item description. Not professional on the seller's part. Since no name was mentioned, I wont buy from any sponsor on Tnet. I will stick to who I normally deal with. Since we cant post names, I guess everyone reading this will never know who I had good transactions with. Anyone who paypals some one money is just asking for trouble. A postal money order is the best way to send someone you don't know money. For someone to claim there is no problems with sellers on here is a joke. Best look at the forums where folks buy brand new out of the box and the item needs sent back to the factory. Im glad Treasure cleared this up what he will allow, it was a shoddy transaction at best. I understand the restrictions place on military members overseas, and that's no excuse if he took the mans money.

I agree I didn't know there were others that had problems! Is their any recourse on a postal money order I thought PayPal was the best bet!!

PayPal u can get ur money back u r protected, same as eBay protected postal money orders ur not 50 50 Ive seen some that look alomost perfect the only thing that cant b duplicated is the glow if u run it under a uv light i looked up & theres a scam still being tossed around using those fake ones people say hey im out of town do my shopping etc they know the limit is 1.000 they give u 2, another I read was people getting scamed same way but being asked to b a mystery shopper thats the one thats most used lookem up those arent safe either but the PayPal dont do it as a gift ur covered like a stolen credit card

Casa when I said no names it was because it was still early at that time, it had been less than 2 weeks since the deal had gone down, I knew where seller lives and knew regular shipping can take up to a month sometimes. I also knew that seller was honest from past sales and even personal dealings with him.

Mods had not had a chance to get involved yet and do any research. Why should we allow someone's name to be trashed without even knowing what was going on first.

By checking his account I saw he had not been logged on in close to 2 weeks, by searching then doing ip trace on his ips used I saw he was on military base overseas.

I never said we can't post names of people who have done bad deals, it is a case by case scenario based on the situation.

I do not consider this a bad deal, shipping was slow due to where it was shipped from, worst it was was poor communication on sellers part and that could easily be because he is in military overseas and may not have had internet access a couple weeks for some reason.

Yes there are a few bad deals between members but they are rare compared to before site made it CM only for selling or offering trades.

I offered the refund because it was only $50.00 and I knew seller was good for it, I would either get items in question or seller would refund me when he was able to get back on. There are other members here I have got to know that I would have done the same thing for.

LMAO Just read all those posts. Hell I hope when I sell something that it arrives so I don't get crucified on here. Good job of handling it Treasure_Hunter my hat's of to you sir.

Some times the guys in military just cant communicate due to what they are doing at the time. Maybe he didn't know it was coming. Good job Treasure_Hunter.
