Were u or do u know uf there was a, trackin #, thats the one thing id I spend money on or if I sell allways helps people feel.a little better about spending or buying something site unseen, anyways id u went through PayPal u should b covered by there protection plan that is offered on all purchases

Hey Petrie, I hope that works out for you. Maybe the guy has been on vacation or had sickness in the family or something. I would attempt to contact him again and ask him "What gives?". If it turns out to be a rip-off, I hope you used regular pay-pal's regular purchase payment and didn't send as a gift option. Some folks ask for their payment to be sent as a gift to keep from having to pay the pay-pal fees on their end. If you don't get a response back from the guy and you didn't send as gift option then contact pay-pal and file a claim with them. Also if you use a credit-card to fund your pay-pal purchases contact them and file a claim to have the charges reversed.

As for them being a "Charter Member", that may not mean anything either. Anybody can upgrade to being a "Charter Member" by paying the upgrade fee, which is something like $20.00, and that gets you either a 6 month or 1 year Charter Membership. I can't remember if it's 6 months or 1 year. You can click on the Charter Member heading at the top of the page and click on Upgrade and it will tell you.

I have bought what I consider to be a lot of items online and fortunately I have never had any problems. Most folks are honest but there's always one or two in every crowd. I hope this helps, good luck on your purchase.

Thats the reason to use PayPal, you can always file a dispute and get your money back.

Sorry, I didn't notice before I posted that you are already a charter member. Let us know how this turns out for ya!

Ane what did he/she (Charter Member) say when you PM's him about the sale Petrie?

After 2 1/2 weeks post his name so no one else gets ripped off buy em,you should have had something by now!!

Wow! Sorry to hear your deal may be turning sour. I have done a handful of deals here on Tnet and everyone that I have dealt with has been great. I get addresses and phone numbers and then go to search public data to make sure the person I'm dealing with is listed for the address I was given. Maybe the person had an unexpected problem come up. Everyone that I have dealt with stayed in touch and kept me informed. Even so, I did check around on Tnet to find out how any of their other deals went. Good luck and I hope you get what you paid for.

Three things that I always do when selling a detector: 1. Provide references 2. Provide my cell number 3. Provide a tracking number for the package (which is insured of course)

Agree, Petrie has waited long enough. I hope this seller doesn't have any other listings active right now!

Yes if this deal does go south and you have to file a claim PLEASE tell us who it was.

Send me a pm with his name so I can contact him...

Thats probly the best idea though we would probly all like to know, i think u will b able to take care of the situation & I dont think any of us will b getting screwed anytime soon

Before names are posted or someone breaks rules and attacks a member a mod needs to look into it to see what is going on....

I have contacted the seller... Do not post any names...

I know the seller works out of country many times, it is possible that is reason for the delay...
