What material is this ring made of?

Hi,
Third ring in three weeks. This one is odd to me. Very heavy metal. Dark grey like lead. Tarnished and doesn't appear to be silver to me. I'm kinda at a lost figuring out what material this is.

No markings but titanium def makes sense to me now.

Titanium is light. I found one and it was marked. I work as an electroplater and work with metals. Looks more like pewter. IMO.

I think im gonna cleaned it up with a polisher and take a closer look. Spent a few hours detecting at my favorite spot on way into work. Working nights tonight. I'll get it polished up and show updated pic if I don't figure it out before. Thanks for the help!

Whoops- my bad.

My brain was thinking Tungsten and my fingers typed Titanium. Sorry about that.

Tungsten is heavy, Titanium is light.
