My apologies: KGii’s....
My life lately has really only allowed me a handful of mini-hunts, factor in the snow and weather and it’s hasn’t amounted to very much hunting.

I got to get out with a few great buddies for some shorter hunts: Bartek, Eastcoasthunter, Treblehunter, and Steve2 (Triplenipple555). Thanks guys - always great company, super sites, and a ton of laughs. I don’t much feel like making some elaborate write-up so here are the pics.

Great coins:headbang: I’m still looking for my first trime:dontknow: I imagine they’re out there but a pretty small target at 6 inches. I’ve probably walked over some too:icon_thumright:

Scrapster as we say here in NE old Silva's and Coppas is a killer day!

LMFAO " TRIPPLENIPPLE " I laughed so hard Bert almost called 911. I was on the floor couldn't stop
Your a funny ba$t@rd. Great hunt between us (our crew of hunters ) that is at least 12 trimespulled from this site over the past year and the same number of half dimes. 3 or 4 capped bust half dimes too. The easy finds there Ade gone but those deep small ones are still waiting to be found. We must have over 200 do is from that site. Meet me there next chance you get. I'll be sleeping in the woods .... Hh gl.

Which one of you buys a GPX first? That’ll suck up anything down deep hiding out of range of the VLFs. A site like that will need a good “final clean” when the signals have dried up. Sounds like there’s gonna be plenty of small targets fairly deep that might be missed.
Steverino I’d cut off a couple toes to be able to dig right now. Buried in snow, single digit temps today, maybe more snow on Wednesday and a new Deus sitting in my office with an Equinox coming soon....if Kim doesn’t find out and kill me first. Yeah it’s depressing here to say the least

As for the finds I’m impressed. Still have never found a trime. Prob tough at colonial sites lol. But those small silvers are a nice find always. Glad you guys had fun and found some nice targets.

A wikked killa’ day bro!

I grew up in Montauk. Some consider it an extension of NE out there, back before the money and city trash moved in. My father was a commercial fishing boat captain. Spent most of my childhood up off the Cape and the various banks, and on the docks in Massachusetts and Maine. Yep, I know that talk bub

Cheers

You know someone's a great detectorist when they find the two smallest silvers the U.S ever minted!

“Bert” almost grabbed the AED bro.

That site and the amount small silver it produces is crazy. Copper too. #1 find from there was Loco’s 1821 capped silver and your 1801 draped bust silver. The funniest was Smittyman finding his first trime and loading his pants.

Great site

Multiple coppers and silvers - excellent Steve! And plenty of brass too ....

Great assortment Steve! Better to detect a couple short hunts than not at all!

My vote does to Treblehunter getting a GPX first. Ol’ Brad already tied the knot so the “honeymoon” time is the best chance for him to make that purchase. Hahaha. Some of his sites are scary old man. Like 1st wave colonization old - places like you hunt.

Hang in there man. Soon enough you’ll be elbow deep in New England soil while the rest of us are struggling to even see the ground through the foliage and weeds.

In the meantime, visit us down here anytime. The Bassstards of Bramble would surely throw you a shindig.

Thank you Tim. Time and patience, plus digging a tremendous amount of questionable signals is how I find stuff. Not sure how great I am. Lol.
