What is your STRANGEST find?

My wife said her strangest find was ME

HEE hee hoo hoo boy a lot of spouses might say that too!

It is about an 8 lb ball of fused, rusty nails that looks like some creature from Star Trek.

I wonder how the heck that came to be? Maybe someone buried a keg of nails and forgot about it, the wooden keg rotted leaving a rusted mass of nails? I would sure be scratching my head....

Pretty sure they tore down an old chicken house and buried the nails to keep them away from livestock. I have some aerial photos of the place from the 40's and there was an old chicken house about 40 ft from the nail burial. Being new, I think I dig more than the rational MDer just to satisfy my curiousity!
