What is your favorite mineral

Thank You. If you have any questions just ask. I love rocks, minerals and processes of the Earth. It is my passion! Like I said contact me if you need anything.

Brian, welcome. I started out as a gold fiend, but now I've morphed into any rock or mineral that looks interesting! I'm fascinated by the Mojave and Sierras and the geology that's taken place out here. It's amazing we have cinder cones within 100 miles of LA, but most people don't know about them. California has it all!

MrLee, hi and thank you for welcoming me to the board. The western United States has some fascinating geology, especially California. Haven't made my way out to that part of the U.S. to rock hunt. California has some of best tourmaline mines in the United States. Do some research. If your close to one of the mines I would highly recommend checking one out. Tourmaline is a fantastic mineral. Good luck and be safe.

I'm sorry boris but I have no clue. But where did you find the Claddagh ring?

Have you knowledge of "diamonds in the rough", I look for them, 20120511_105739.jpg2012-01-27 11.05.21.jpg2012-01-27 11.05.21.jpg and also for arrowheads?
