I found this message on a google search which seems like it may be a match to the numbers and lettering - for a windshield wiper motor?

windshield wiper for '31 | 1929-32 | VCCA Chat

Just cleaned off the vacumn w/s wiper motor I bought a few months ago that came off a '31 chev truck. Left the frame there but brought home the motor, dash and gauges, and w/s frame with motor. It has no brand name on it that I can see but the numbers are: PAT'D 1522344 155493 1562122 1565493 1567328 RE 16322 CANADA 1923,26,27 PAT.PEND Is that an original for my '31 chev coupe?

Perhaps in the 1920s Canada's patent numbering system still copied the British system... giving the year as the first part of a patent number. As in, 1923-#26 and #27.

On the patent image it won't let me see
It looks like it came from a vacuum windshield wiper motor from a '31 chev truck, possibly made by Trico. The next step is to google the numbers and look for a wiper motor patent to verify. And then look for this motor and find the matching part. A lot of patents on a wiper motor.

Im about 99% sure its from a vacuum windshield wiper/washer motor assembly from about that era. All the numbers match and the patents are windshield wiper or washer. But because it probably just a broken part from the item, its no sense searching any further. I think its solved
