OK everyone here is smart ::) ::) ::)

I have been out of town and not able to update this post so here are new pics!!!!
You posted 2 identical pics of the same side, you can tell by the identical scratches, stressed metal and corrosion. :laughing9:

I guess you are just testing us.

These are pics of front and back.
Dont underestimate our observation capabilities. :D I have been doing this a very long time lol.
They are both backs.

Re: What is this(what happen to all the smart people

Im sorry I dont know what it is. It may be a Tudor Rose or Sunflower. Its odd that the front and back are near identical. :icon_scratch: That seems to mean that both sides can and will be viewed and its not a pin, brooch or buckle.

Someone may find it if they take the time to search. Maybe the picture hanger idea needs more research.

Do you think it was bent accidentally?

Maybe someone that is really smart will be able to figure it out
I meant when you first found it.

I wish you would stop with the constant "smart" comments. You are not helping any and the comment has no relevance. It may be solved by someone that has the time to research but you have alienated many members that may not bother to help you.

so the item is dual sided - same image on both sides -- so its interchangible can be wore either side up / facing out if a necklace type item worn on a ribbon or hung on a wall nail--and still look "right" or it might be hung by a string in such a way that both sides are visible ( like a window suncatcher item might be) .--ok thats a starting point --looks to be made of brass thats another starting point

so far we know --its a brass item * that has indentical sides *--

-has anyone looked at asian items --the japanese * might have a "symbolic" flower design like that i think.-- the asia area used to made a lot of brass items in the past

Ivan-The edges of the flower are pretty sharp so not good for a necklace. Why would one need both sides finished if it was going to hang on the wall. I'm thinking window suncather is probaly closer. I'm also thinking that circle with the V in it maybe someones trade mark.
