Found this possible necklace. It came out of the ground brown and turned green.

I'd say this is a Victorian era picture hanger. Once upon a time, it was flat. A long wire goes through the top loop and the loops at 4 & 8 o'clock and it is hung on the picture rail with an 'S' hook. You move this piece up and down to adjust the height of the picture on the wall.

OK I googled wild Kansas sunflower and in some variations the petals look rounded. But there are more than 8 petals and the leaves are still VERY different. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SunflowerDano Sverige said:Kansas is the "sunflower state"...could it be something from there maybe?
