Found this the other day where I find some pottery, etc, was told it was a counter weight for an Atlatl , made from soap stone, hope someone can help with identification and value

Not all had/have holes from what I'm seeing.
Thank you for the info , have found many artifacts over the years , but nothing like this , also a photo of an arrowhead and shark tooth which looks as though it was attached to an arrow, some pottery from the same area alsoCould be a BoatStone or a Gorget from the book I just looked in.
Some Gorget names were
Oval Humped
Spineback
Ridged or Humped Gorget. All looked like your example along with the Boatstone
Yes, that tooth looks like it was modified for halting. Keep the pics coming.
