Promoters..That is a Buzz word made up by the un informed on this web site..Yes I am afraid of Caves, Bears, Rattle Snakes and Big Horn Sheep..I dislike working my way around rock outcropping and driving on two track dirt roads with 1000 foot drop offs.. Unlike the Skeptics I have no fear of Electronic Prospecting devices.

I was looking for some gold ore one time. It was under an old Pinion Pine..I crawled under it and found a Rattle Snake den..needless to say..It is still there..If there is a large forest fire in the area I may go back..Art

I have a friend that hunts in snake territory and he carrys a can of wasp spray. Says it works good. Used to, you could put a lighter in front and have a dam good flamethrower. (to take care of whatever a LRL promoter feared the most) See how I stayed on topic to keep the children from whining. According to all the LRL promoters on here, no, they are merely dowsing devices with some form of fake "electronics" attached in order to try and justify their costs; because they are no better than a bent coat hanger or a forked branch.

And none have ever been scientifically proven to be anything else than that.

You really don't remember saying that the pointer can't move by itself? And that you tip your hands to make it move? You have said that in a few different places on this forum.

But if you deny saying that, then are you now saying that the pointer will move on it's own power? That the handle can be clamped in a vise, and the pointer will move to follow a moving target?

Which is it?

I do not remember saying that…I have said that the unit will swing when it encounters a signal line..I have also said that the relaxed hand movement is caused by the swing of the device like when a fish strikes you bait.

But if you deny saying that, then are you now saying that the pointer will move on it's own power? That the handle can be clamped in a vise, and the pointer will move to follow a moving target?

I have not said that..It is to bad that you do not understand our answer..May be if you would not twist and spin them all you would be able to understand.

artie, if the pointer moves, then something has to be moving it, right?

What is moving it is either gravity, when you tilt your hands, or it is being turned by the LRL.

If it is not being moved by your hand tilting, then it should move on it's own when you clamp the handle in a vice, and move a good target in front of it.

It appears that you are trying to say that it moves on it's own, but it doesn't move on it's own. That is impossible.

So which is it?

Your reluctance to explain what you are trying to claim is very suspicious.
