What a tease! Token & Boy Scouts Neckerchiefs

Dug at the site of an old school, demo'd in the 1960's. Found this on a hill, about 6" down, looked like a large coin at first, then I saw the back and cussed a bit.

Not sure they ever made a silver neckerchief for the scouts. The token is a cool find.

That's a very cool Token - congrats !
I don't remember ever seeing one like that before.
Lot's of Large Cents are still out there to be found but you'll probably never find another Token like that.

Congratulations on an interesting hunt. Scout must have been meeting at that location. The neckerchief slide you think is sterling is actually the oldest of the bunch. Unfortunately it is just more heavily plated than any of the newer ones. Neckerchief slides of this type were never produced in silver. Sorry. Stay safe, good luck and keep swingin.
