Hmmm...a pewter, Continental Dollar minted in 1776, in an overall lot of around 6,000 produced, with only about 100 remaining. And found in England of all places, to boot! To borrow from Commander Cody and His Lost Planet Airmen, I think we've got a live one here! My guess is that it will go for a lot more than the £20,000 to £30,000 predicted. It's in pretty good shape, too. And I have to say, I really like a coin that actually says, "MIND YOUR BUSINESS" on it. That's my kind of coin!

My guess is that it will go for a lot more than the £20,000 to £30,000 predicted.

And, boy was I wrong...and disappointed. The coin sold for £25,000, more than $32,000 American and right in the middle of the predicted range. I really thought it might go for as much as twice the predicted sale price.
