Well if I'm Only Allowed Two Good Finds Today!
Hit the river again today,slow day find wise but fun to do.Anyway some of you asked to see what the sites I hunt look like so I took the camara with me today.Some of the sites are very limited to what they give as clues others not so much. But a eye for the types of things helps alot,may only be one piece of brick,pottery,ceramic, etc.But knowing how old it is,is what gets me started on a place.Not alot of finds today and not the best day for it as the wind and tide were not that great for it.I did find some more old musket shot and balls but figured with all the other pics no need to post them.Anyway Enjoy!

The problem with this piece from my others is it don't add up.If it was whole it would be 26mm which I could say OK 2real piece but you through the weight factor in and it don't add up.Tell you what I mean 1real should be around 3.42g - 2real 6.77 this quarter piece weighs 1.1 so if whole and if cut right it put it at 4.4g to heavy not to mention that the size would be to big also at 26mm.But I know it's from the time frame as I have found others at this site.My bess guess it's either 1real to heavy or 2real to lite from the early milled form say 1733era.If anyone else could add something your sure welcome! 
and I feel this site was used for tobacco trade as the token I found and the story with these Pistareens would fit it well!Sorry about that just hadn't sat down and studied it keep getting the reals mixed up with these!
