Weirdest finds ever...

You should see what the original owner still has in his basement? Norman...mother is calling.

It sold for $40.00 not bad considering I paid $3 :)

Sweet... I recently made $89 off of 25 cents. A French pocket knife, Black Americana book & a nut cracker. I grabbed them all from a 25 cent box and said "I have 3, 25 cent items here" to which here response was, "give me 25 cents". I then added a historical book about Minnesota which was in the dollar pile and she said "yer still at 25 cents"... I'm not gonna argue with a woman.

I think she liked ya!

Dead turkey vulture used to chase live ones from Mount Holly yard - phillyburbs.com: Burlington County Times: mount holly, turkey vultures, population control, effigy, us department of agriculture

"Since turkey vultures are protected by the federal Migratory Bird Act, a permit must be secured before measures are taken to trap, kill, relocate or handle a vulture or its eggs. Rein said the USDA can obtain the needed permits and hang an effigy".
I wonder if I can use a dead cat on a stick, to keep the rest of the neighborhood cats out of my yard? Just kidding. But these friggin cats need to go. :laughing7:

It's a joke, hence the expression "just kidding" and the laughing smilie ::) . Some folks need to lighten up. Just because I don't like homeless, breeding, half feral, cats using my yard for their personal litter box, doesn't mean I would actually harm one. Comprende Kemo sabe?

You don't need to be sarcastic ...if you look back on this link you will see things such as live chickens wrapped for market. Ie someone said burrito style and thought that was funny..so sorry to take it out on your post..just seems pretty callous

If you look back on this thread you will see absolutely no mention of the things you claim. I don't know if you've been exercising your state rights and smoking a little weed or something, if so, I would suggest a lower grade maybe. Obviously, something has you seeing things that aren't there. You have a nice day squiggy.

Actually FYI I reported it at the time and looks like it was taken off....So while you are busy talking down to another you might want to get all the info ....

Maybe you should have quoted them, instead of me then. That way someone would have "all the info." I'm done, you have a nice day squiggy, good luck and happy hunting (excuse me... "detecting", you probably don't hunt). I'm gonna go hook up my motion activated water sprinkler I just bought. Nice humane scare tactic for stray cats. I wasn't joking about that part.

Ditto to all of it....you as well!

Cats like dogs must be on a leash so if it is on your property then call animal control or trap in a humane trap then turn it in. Cats are a health concern issue for people with small children so if I find them on my property they are removed rather quickly. If I have to remove the same cat from my property more then once it goes into my cat relocation program but it is never hurt just never seen by my house again.

I love animals and have had many dogs and cats but I always control my pets and keep them on my own property.

You know, if you take someone else's cat and move it for being on your property, you are probably causing someone to lose their pet. Further, many domestic cats do not have the skills necessary to live in the wild... I can understand your frustration at having someone else's cat on your Property, but you would probably be better off if you put a note in it's collar informing the owners that you would like their cat kept off of your property, even if that means they need to keep it indoors. Instead of releasing to the wild, the cat has a better chance of survival if it is taken to the Pound (the pound near our house gets significant donations that allow it to be a Low Kill facility (they only kill animals that are sick or not appropriate for pets.))
