Weekend at a place called "Empire" 1851-1935 mega relic dig

Hi all,Went to a small mining town not far, the area was once called Empire, the town once had a deep saddle reef gold mine called Empire. The operated for over 50 years and a small community developed.Like all small mining town once the gold run out so did the life of the town.I believe i have a site that has not be touched by others so i might get lucky.Spent saturday and sunday digging here . ;D ;D ;D

Its tuesday evening here and just finished work and this the first chance i had to post my finds.Spent monday cleaning up a few item and i still got large bags of relics to go threw ;D ;D ;D, so i will be adding more pics during the week.here a large pic show of finds site and items being dug.

t.p "the relic king" ;D ;D ;D

Man I would die to have just one of those bottles! I am a relic hunter but LOVE the bottles to. Especially the bottle with the nice lettered pontil on the bottom! Or the bottle that lays on its side (I always loved those bottles) Great looking coins too! ;)

Hi dave welcome to TN In the Adelaide hills is a mine site that dates from the 1830's Canman Two gold-copper Mine.this mine was quite a deep and famous mine and oldest in your state.Shouldn,t be to hard to find out about.i am sure this site has never been detected.

Along geenhill road between glen osmond rd and goodwood rd is a poney club and under this area is an old tip, that dates 1830's and the site was only partly hand dug in the 1970's.A hole in the by-laws allows you to dig there. ;D ;D ;D.

some of those old towns on York Pen.would be worth a try

The old ghan rail line towns marree and others

tinpan Good Luck
