Primary Interest:
Prospecting
This is my first post on this site. Hopefully one of many. Let me give ya’ll the low down and hopefully I’ll spark someone’s attention to want to join me. Here’s the setup I will have by June of this coming year(13’):

Gold Hog Highbanker
Gold Cube 4 Stack Deluxe
Garrett AT Gold with BOGO MP MPX Pro Detector
3oz Smelting Pot
The usuals: Pan, Snuffer, Magnet, Classifier etc…

If anyone is interested and is near Eastern WA, Northern OR or Western ID then hit me up and we can make some magical gold finds happen. Extra points if you have a date as it will be me and my girl together. The plan is to hit a nice stream, camp for a few nights and run some buckets like a mothah. Convicts need not apply, I already see enough of you working at the prison.

Hahah. Yeah it is. I was joking I haven't been to the prospecting show in a lomg time. Hope to meet a bunch of forum members

I'll be working in the Prospectors Plus booth there. Be sure to let me know who you are so I can put some faces to the names. See you guys there.

Because this is a Washington thread I figured I sneak a question in.

If there is a claim on the river, say the sultan, and you are legally allowed to prospect the claim do the dates in the fish and gold pamphlet apply? For example the sultan river closes on the 28th of February. On a club claim can I still run my recirculating highbanker?

I don't know the specifics on that river, but typically all the same rules apply regardless of wether our not you're on a claim. Open and close dates still apply on every claim I've worked in WA. I know figuring out the dates on some areas can be a little tricky, but if the land is owned by a club they should have the specifics listed somewhere.

I thought u could sluice year round . Under 3 square foot riffle.

3 square feet or less with a electric pump no digging in the water... U can stream sluice year round with 3 square feet and 25% or less of the width of the stream or river....

Post above is right on, and to clarify for the person asking about high banking... according to the gold and fish, mini-high bankers are allowed outside the wetted perimeter as long as it has a screened intake and is hand or battery operated.
