Booth could pick up a coded message by reading the New York Times or a "K.G.C." owned and operated news press in anywhere U.S.A. He could also receive a message (card full of numbers) via the "Rebel Express" (underground mail route to the South) and no matter if it was intercepted by the Yankees or who handled it, the message could not be decoded until the key for it was published in the newspaper. In this manor the message was useless until it was received by it's intended reader.

The Copperheads had numerous important newspapers, but the editors never formed an alliance.( that was reported) In Chicago, Wilbur F. Storey made the Chicago Times into Lincoln's most vituperative enemy. The New York Journal of Commerce, originally abolitionist, was sold to owners who became Copperheads, giving them an important voice in the largest city. A typical editor was Edward G. Roddy, owner of the Union town, Pennsylvania Genius of Liberty. He was an intensely partisan Democrat who saw blacks as an inferior race and Abraham Lincoln as a despot and dunce. Although he supported the war effort in 1861, he blamed abolitionists for prolonging the war and denounced the government as increasingly despotic.

John Mullaly's Metropolitan Record was the official Catholic paper in New York City. Reflecting Irish opinion, it supported the war until 1863 before becoming a Copperhead organ; the editor was then arrested for draft resistance. Even in an era of extremely partisan journalism, Copperhead newspapers were remarkable for their angry rhetoric. Wisconsin newspaper editor Marcus M. Pomeroy of the La Crosse Democrat called Lincoln "Fungus from the corrupt womb of bigotry and fanaticism" and a "worse tyrant and more inhuman butcher than has existed since the days of Nero … The man who votes for Lincoln now is a traitor and murderer … And if he is elected to misgovern for another four years, we trust some bold hand will pierce his heart with dagger point for the public good."

All of this K.G.C. Press one would imagine it quite easy to get a special message printed and published.

this is exsactly like the code we broke with a numbered paragraph. If I were to try and decode this I would start by searching for a key with the same amount of words as the code has numbers. The highest number used will tell you how many words are in the key.

This makes me think for sure that the Beale treasure is K.G.C.. The encryption is the same as we have already figured out in our K.G.C. circle. In our case the Key phrase to number was given to us by way of Morris code.

This is really interesting. I have never looked into the whole Beale thing, but the resemblance to the K.G.C. relics and ciphers we have unearthed is very real. Even the method of sending the key much later to decode the numbers. WOW!

ES Hutter told his brother, FC Hutter (CSA PAYMASTER) about the events in Danville, Va (1865); gave VLoN to his son-in-law... STILL in the Ragland Family possession, as of 2004 or so; NOT sure if it is in FRENCH or ENGLISH. 1885, FC Hutter died (20 years after CW ended in 1865); FC Hutter was the AUTHOR of the BEALE PAPERS/"JOB PRINT", and his cousin, JB Ward was the AGENT for the author... the HUTTERS & JB WARD were grandsons of JB Risque, who had a duel with Thomas Beale, Sr. in Fincastle, Va. "over" Julia Hancock (latter married Clark of Lewis & Clark Expedition in Thomas Jefferson's "time"). Julia Hancock was kin to JOHN HANCOCK of the DOI (DECLARATION of INDEPENDENCE). When the Hutter family owned & was living at Poplar Forest, JB Ward PROBABLY played there with his cousins (Hutter boys); reading stuff like EA Poe THE GOLD BUG, Lewis & Clark Expedition & OTHER "related" expeditions to the American "South West", the Jefferson-Burr "conflict" (shades of KGC...?). Jubal Early (CSA) NEVER surrendered, retiring to Lynchburg, Va. to practice LAW as an attorney (had assess to Vattel's LAW OF NATION); first met KGC in Maryland or PA, during a battle in the CONFEDERATE WAR. Order of Odd Fellows was shattered (SPLIT) during the CONFEDERATE WAR; KGC went "in" to "build up" (ppl thought it was KGC/FreeMasons...). There are definite links to the state of Virginia and another K.G.C. Castle located there. This outer, inner, circle of men in Virginia, were some of the elder Knights that were very close to Presidents Pierce and Buchanan and Jefferson Davis.
