Gold cube behind an 1/8" classifier.
2" Keene dredge, I'm changing to Miners Moss over Nomark rib mat from the factory carpet.
I classify everything to minus +20, -20, +50, -50 and pan those groups separately. Then run the -50 tails through a blue bowl. I will soon add a miller table to my clean up.

Edit, my -20 and +50 are the same thing not sure why I wrote it that way.

AimSmMissSm...keep using that sluice you got from me at the rendezvous and you other sluices there and you'll do just fine...with the fine gold.
Oh, I saw your nugget swimming down stream the other day after you left. I couldn't grab it fast enough before it slid into the crevice.
I must be getting old.

However......Kai was kind enough to not tell how much I lost on the the grizzly tailings side.
I'm not disappointed with the results by any means but he gave me a couple things to think about and I have a plan in mind for increasing my recovery by at least 10%, if I can do some delicate welding. I aint reinventing the wheel, just trying to figure out what works best to get better at what I like doing. I do all the research I can and put things in motion to see what happens. Every time my wife hears me say "I going to try an experiment" I get the look, and then she resigns herself to the fact that I have to do what I have to do to see what happens if......$$$$$$

We'll see..........

What about reducing the angle of the grizzly header box....
That would allow for more wash time and allow more fines to settle through to drop into your sluice.
You don't really need to steep an angle for classified material runoff.
Also maybe a little more water from the spray bar.
Just a thought.:icon_scratch:... Nice build by the way...

William

PS.... I hope you Washington guys don't mind an old Oregon coastal boy dropping in here.
This is at least an active beach mining thread.........:blackbeard:

I encourage everyone that processes fine gold to post here. Pictures are always a help to show off your equipment.

Thank's......:laughing7:
Now all I have to do is find an area with enough fine gold to process.
Went to Beverly Beach Saturday....... Area looked pretty good but the returns were dismal.....

I run a Cleangold sluice with a long slick plate ... In Or. we can't use any power so it is strictly ground sluicing.. Pain in the :censored:.

I'm also working on being able to set it up as a high banker so I can use it up at Cape Disappointment, If I can ever make it up that way.
Still in progress, have to put the spray bars together and figure a good support system for it.

I have added the Brawn Beach Concentrator to my arsenal. Notice that they are standing on Black sand. Last winters storms stripped the over burden off of Benson Beach.
