I came across this ring the other day and am completely stumped

I'm almost 100% certain it's sterling silver but there's no markings and the gold inlays are a strong 10k,
The 14k acid barely wipes it out.
I live in Pa and the best I can come up with is a fraternity ring but the Greek letters with the ships have lead me clueless.
The weight of the ring is 19.8 grams
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Dustin

Gamma phi delta ring ?
Gamma phi Delta was founded at Jefferson College (now Washington and Jefferson) in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, in 1848

I ran across that in my research but the ship and whale/dolphin threw me off. Were there different branches to this group?
Any estimate on what you think it's worth.
I appreciate the info

Maybe the ship has to do with the school rather than the fraternity. My college ring had both the school and the frat insignia on it.

So what makes this ring "very rare"?
Just wondering n

Hmm- maybe it's not
I just can't find anything at all that comes close to this exact ring. It may be custom made but my research has left me with no answers.
I was just curious since it seems to be one of a kind.
