Unbelievable guys I did it again and this one is special!!

Hey guys well I got another CW 3 ringer at the park. In the last 5 day I detected 3 times and each time I got a 3 ringer and just last week I would had never thought I would ever even find one. Then to top it off this one is deferent. It’s a .56 cal 5 star. I tried to look it up and couldn’t find that size caliber with the 5 star. All I could find was a .58 cal 5 star. If anyone can help me I’d truly appreciate it. They are all three different so that makes it a three trip trifecta!!!

What a great thread , I have really enjoyed reading it, + with devildog it has a 'local' touch.

Truth you sound like me , I hunt alone 'Tom Cat' tho I really don't mind hunting with others , Getting me to make the call , & getting me to communicate with other is the hardest part. I'm a bit antisocial but not cause i'm a 'prick' just always been full of anxiety. but Once I start talking , it's hard to get me to quit. lol

Like DD I have never dug a swage base minnie , They have been found in the NW GA area tho, one dug by my 'late' Buddy Don ,at 'New Hope GA' dug 1 with a Swage & a Star in it. Our local Relic guru Butch H has only seen a few of that type from that area.

You are def, on a roll , I see an Enfield or a GS Button in your future but I really hope a nice LA, MS or CSA button will come first.

I still learn something new about detecting & relics everyday.

Davers it sounds like we are very much cut from the same cloth. The while I’m I detecting Im thinking I hope nobody asked me any questions and then if somebody does they can’t shut me up. I can tell they’re ready to leave before I’m finished talking.

If they do ask ; "ya found anything?" I always say No just Cent's & Nails . or Just Shot Gun Brass; if in the woods.
