Found this on the desk today. I believe this is a ultra rare experimental $20 Gold piece disguised as a zinc Lincoln cent. It weighs exactly the same as a zinclon, but I think its actually a ounce of gold compressed into a cent sized piece. Not sure why they did this, but you can look at it and just tell. Any ideas?

good advice here....drop it from hot air balloon onto sidewalk for sound test.minimum 2000ft.then quickly put it in your beer for temp.test.if it isnt cold when it comes out of beer than you dont know how to drink beer,DO NOT have it tested as we all know acid tests are far more unreliable than the balloon test.

Lastly you should post it on all the reputable coin sites then claim to know more than they do about it..:occasion14:

I found one but I think it's made out of poo. When I dropped it all I got was "dung".

I tried the acid test but it looked like this.

I may have taken too much.

ok fun time I see ... when does the fact that gold is heavier per a equally sized item than zinc and copper take effect ? -- yep that copper plated zinc cent must be very very dense (or else the person is ...duh ) ...simple science 101....

just because it weights properly and looks like a silver dime (exactly what it is a harshly cleaned discolored one but still a dime ).. it can't be because I've made up my mind its not ....so now quit bothering me with those pesky "facts"...

I believe this original post drips heavily with satire regarding certain contemporary threads of bi-weekly once-in-a-lifetime roll finds.

But I may be mistaken as my intellect is merely average. ;-)
