This idea that i can get everyone in one room at the same time, to discuss the contract, wherein I am basickly giving them a silver mine, may be my undoing.
First call was inundated with the phrase, "Well, I don't know yet."

I may be forced into plan B, or plan C.

B.... mail it to them, and lose the ability to exchange thoughts or objections, which removes me as an arbitrator.

C.... drive out there and hand deliver them and give each one a chance to exchange thoughts or ideas. Which family do I go to first?....

Wish I could help you, but I have had the same experience up until now, it's not easy giving a lost mine away. I finally found someone willing to go the whole nine yards. Yes finding a lost mine is easy, getting it working is the hard part. Follow your heart, if you had a plan B, an C, I would say go ahead with plan B.

I had to make that decision just last night.
The widow in the valley.
Can't make a decision on her own, without her son.

In less than a month deer season starts. He wants to be done so he can hunt there.
He is the one that I have been waiting for, so now I must rush the rest to work around him.

I am ready, but she needs me to wait until next week.

So next week I will become the thorn in everyone's side.

I have finally found a used copy of Kenworthy's book on Spanish Deathtraps.

Yesterday, I tried to give my silver mine back to the land owners, One family was all in, but the other wants nothing to do with it. Not even I will be allowed to roll the stones from its door, after all of my research and labor.

I will be allowed to go back to find irrefutable proof that it is still there.

For now I must decide who I will take with me.

I'll add a few pages to the book and start the search again.

THE SCHOOL OF HARD KNOCKS IS WHERE WE TREASURE HUNTERS HAVE TO LEARN OUR TRADE. TREASURE CHANGES A LOT OF PEOPLE. THIS IS WHY CONTRACTS HAVE TO BE MADE BEFORE FINDING ANYTHING. IF YOU HAVE WRITTEN PERMISSION FROM THE MINERAL RIGHTS OWNERS, AND AN AGREEMENT ON SHARES, YOU SHOULD REMIND THEM. IT'S ALWAYS BETTER TO SETTLE THINGS OUT OF COURT.

I DON'T KNOW THE FULL SCOOP OF YOUR SITUATION, AND DON'T REALLY KNOW HOW MINING LAW DIFFERS IN THE EAST FROM THAT IN THE WEST. SURE HOPE YOU DON'T HAVE TO RESORT TO LEGAL ACTION, BUT SOMETIMES THAT'S WHAT IT TAKES TO GET THINGS WORKING.

THE MOST IMPORTANT SIGNATURE WAS THE THIRD TO CROSS OVER TO THE OTHER SIDE.
HIS WIFE WILL NOT SIGN ANY DOCUMENT WITH ANYONE.
SHE STILL ALLOWS ME TO COME AND GO, BUT WANTS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE MINE. SHE JUST WANTS TO ENJOY HER FARM LIFE.

I TALKED TO THREE GENERATIONS OF HER FAMILY AT ONCE. HER GRANDSON IS THE ONLY ONE WITH AN OPEN MIND, AND HE IS OUTVOTED.

THEY HAVE THE PAPERWORK IN HAND. I HOPE HE REALIZES WHAT HE HAS, SOON.

IN THE MEANTIME I WILL SEARCH FOR SOMEONE TO WALK WITH ME, THAT I KNOW AND CAN TRUST, THAT WANTS ONLY TO BE A PART OF HISTORY.

NOW I MUST RETHINK EVERY PAGE THAT I HAVE WRITTEN TO MAKE SURE THAT I HAVE NOT TILTED THE SCALE TO SHOW EITHER FAMILY THE PATH TO THE ENTRANCE.

YOU ARE CORRECT. YOU CANNOT GIVE SOME FOLKS A SILVERMINE.

SO THE ENTRANCE TO THE MINE IS ON A DIFFERENT PROPERTY THAN THE END OF THE TUNNEL? IN THAT CASE THE MINE ENTRANCE OWNERS HAVE NO SILVER LEFT ON THEIR PROPERTY UNLESS A CACHE RESTS THERE. OTHERWISE SINCE YOU HAVE PERMISSION, YOU COULD ENTER THE TUNNEL, AND GET A GPS WHERE THE VEIN IS, AND IF IT IS NOT TO DEEP, IT COULD BE OPENED UP AT THE OTHER PROPERTY WITH NO PROBLEM FROM THOSE LAND OWNERS. A GRAB SAMPLE WOULD SURELY CONVINCE THEM TO CUT YOU IN ON A SHARE OF THE CLAIM TO GET THE GPS OF THE VEIN.

Well hours felt like days for a while, after I left the farm, when I had hope that the grandson would call the number that I left.

Now that I have realized that it would be most difficult for him to persuade his elders.

Now the days slip away like hours.

I am studying a short list of possibilities to approach with a plan from the mind of a madprospector.
