Two buttons and a cross. Rev rattlesnake?

Found these two partial buttons. The first looks like it may be a rev war period rattlesnake and egg? Anyone seen one like it? Also another button design I've never seen and a (lead)? Cross. Normally a Rev Era Rattlesnake Button shows the snake coiled around 13 eggs. I don't think that's what it is. Just a nice civilian flat button.

Buckleboy, the examples I've seen have 7 eggs on the inside of the coil and the remaining 6 on the outside. I agree that this is probably civilian but was curious as the coil seemed to be expanding and these two were found in close vicinity to an 1812 artillery camp.

This is the one I found and I think it's the only one with eggs the rest have stars? HH

Sorry folks, I just don't think it's a rattlesnake button. Doesn't match any variety I've ever seen.

Agreed. I was out on a limb anyways. And I doubt I'll see the other half to prove either way😪
