Found a British TV show on the roku channel only 3 seasons around 6 episodes each but it's a comedy about these 2 friends metal detecting. I've been enjoying it and thought I would share for anyone who hasn't seen it.

Yes, it has had terrific reviews regardless of those interested in detecting or not. A brilliant mix of comedy and pathos.

Each of the three series has 6 episodes plus Christmas specials in series two and three, making 20 episodes in total.

I’ve seen all seasons and it is quite a kick…! Very satisfying and real enough to be believable most of the time…! I recommend the show!

Watched the show during the winter snows a couple of years ago. Ring Pulls, rather than Pull Tabs, a bit different, but we are all the same, aren’t we, with a certain measure of competition among the community….?

the wife and I watched this show over the last few days. I really liked it.

the show captures well the camaraderie amoung folks enjoying their hobby.

there are many good funny things that happen and the dialog is great.

I especially thougt the main two guys, Lance and Andy, were very funny. the episode where Lance displays his pull tab collection was good, his display labeled "pull tabs through the years."

They also released a Christmas Special Movie last year you can purchase or rent it on YouTube Detectorist:Movie Special. I think it's 5-10 years after the show ended.

in the 90's I Found Every time I Bought a New Video on VHS
That I Particularly Liked, I Never wanted to Watch it again

I Saw Detectorists 2 maybe 3 Times from Beginning to End.

Now I can only Stomach Certain Episodes !
Yes I'm Still Glad I seen it all, My brain Just pics certain episodes that stuck out & The rest are Now Boring because they are Burned into My Brain !
