my opinion.
there may be some nice old relics & treasures on the Island, But not what or where they Think.
they need to start thinking lost and abandoned relics from all the suckers digging the pit over all these years.
and piracy.
I disagree on the swamp though. but only because
Building or using a swamp to hide Treasures is Like
hiding your treasure at the Bottom of the Deepest Ocean.
once it's there, It's there for good.
or at the very Least, Centuries.
how do you possibly make out, If your Treasure is
beyond all you knows reach, for as long and longer as you can imagine ?

& no I don't subscribe to Theories of Magical people who can dig like ants & Boxes that can control life :tongue3:

Hi Jeff, No I don't think there is treasure in the swamp but before it was a swamp it was a fresh water pond and anyone that stayed here would of camped at this site. The readings of gold in the swamp were from Magatite Stones placed there to build camp fire rings and a small stone path to get around the muddy area they walked through. They found one camp fire of stones with a coin at the site. The coin fell out while sleeping at the camp fire. There is a lot of artifacts in this area that metal detectors can't pick up that will tell the story.

I just don't get it :BangHead: its been 3 years and what did they find. WE located more at the New Ross site on our first trip then Marty and Rick did in 3 years. Or maybe they are saving the best for a 4th season :dontknow:..

Actually the Templars were not devout Catholics due, in part, to their years spend in the Holy Land, where they certainly were introduced to skeins of Islamic and Jewish traditions, not to mention alternative Christian ones, that were at odds with the doctrines of the Catholic Church. It is not at all certain that they would have willingly handed anything over to any Pope, particularly in the latter years of their existence. Cheers

Actually there is no evidence that at least the rank and file were not devout Catholics. What seems to be forgotten is that as in all orders there were many levels within this secret order. Full fighting Knights is what most think of, but there was also The Grand Master, Masters of France, England, Scotland, local unit commanders, sergeants, squires, sailors, stone masons, persons in finance and ect. More importantly though, there is evidence of an even more secret inner circle, something common to all of these types of organizations, and, btw, we do have the name of the most likely leader of this inner group.
In the beginning the order was sent to find religious artifacts to be handed over to a relic hungry Church. If any such objects were found they would have surely handed them over, except of course for something that may have harmed their Church.

In the past when money was needed to dig deeper in the Money Pit , artifacts were found or planted to keep the money coming in. Now its the same thing again, they find or plant something just to keep the film crew on site :BangHead:.
The New Ross site is the Key to unlocking our history. We don't have to fake anything at our site, its all real. This summer we hope to uncover many new finds that will start a major research dig at the site.

We are done with our research at New Ross and we have the proof that the Knights Templar did build a castle at this site. The Minick Indians or the Vikings could of been at this site way before the Templars but the Templars did build the castle at this site. It is possible that a circle of stones around a Vortex was here before the Templars. The circle would of looked like Stonehenge in Europe. There is a lot more going on at this site and its a great story. Check out our other post for new updates.
