Cool band, can’t remember when I first heard them, but then just like now has reminded of some great times… “Nawlins”…French Quarter…Bourbon Street (?)… Hurricanes—the drink of course😵‍💫 and nice AND cheap cold beer, beignets, finger food, people watching and absolutely loving the live music…. Good times to be had, although it’s been a number of years since I have been there, the spirit is very much still alive in that city!👍🏼

I played trumpet in the high school swing band and the sousaphone in the marching band. The school gave me an old beat up sousaphone to keep at home to practice. It had a special seat with posts placed around it to support it so I could sit down and practice. My mother was a music teacher, so we all took up some instrument. Sister was the clarinet and brother played the drums.
