Why are the US statistics of covid cases and deaths so far out of line when compared to the top 10 countries in the world?

According to Johns Hopkins University it's spreading faster here and more are dying here than anywhere else in the world by a longshot

No, you have those cases because you didn't prepare after China warned you. You also have those cases because you don't have a proper healthcare system compared to Europe. People won't go to a hospital immediately after showing first symptoms because it's gonna cost them a fortune. So the virus spreads. Look at Germany. We closed our airports pretty late and had people still coming to us. Yet our numbers are still quite low.

And I think your numbers will rise as long as people insist on their right to go out and demonstrate and as long as you have people who for example want to re-open places such as Las Vegas.
