What's the 2nd piece left 1st pic? Coins and relics I wouldn't complain, but then again you Brits have high detecting standards :D

Sorry IronSpike, are you talking about the long trumpet shaped piece?

Yes. Is that what it is?

No, it's a broken coat hook or something!

Here you can see the hook end!

I see the confusion, they are both hooks. The bigger one has a broken off iron pin, which you don't get on the end of a tamper.

Just to confuse things a little more, not all of them have the hexagonal head, some have other types as well :)

He is talking about the Item in the first picture on the left under the Knife :icon_scratch:, is that not a Tamper :icon_scratch:

SS.

What, pipe tampers or hooks :icon_scratch: :D

I don't know what the similar small piece is next to the hook thing, if that's what you mean SS :dontknow:

No, part of a large hook with the hook end broken off. The right had end has a iron pin (or residue).

does look like one, from the photo though

I've always wanted to find a coat hook pipe tamper :D  Thanks ID on relic :icon_thumright: From photo (knife scale) it does seem rather large for a pipe tamper coat hook.

How do you do that with the pics?

Quite a few bits of phot-editing software will do this - even your basic windows paint. Just cutting and pasting the pics into a new 'blank' picture, resizing then flattening and saving the whole lot as one picture - I'm using Adobe Photoshop to edit mine on - great program.
Now then - is it Coke or is it pottery?
David.
