Looks like a Jug handle, possibly Roman :P

It's deffinately a handle from something large! I just had to fish it out of the bin >:(

Is this from the field your doing? If so there must be something Roman in it! (thanks where I'm leaning)

From one of the two newley ploughed fields i tried yesterday! I already thought it would be worth another go. I had my little girl with me yesterday so i couldn't really concentrate on where to go!

It's the fixing end of a hook for coats or something! I've found a good few, but none from around here!

Much in the way of relics in that area? ???
I work for a company based out of Littlehampton and will eventually be making a trip there.
