Uh, it wasn't a joke. It could very well be ancient graffiti of a rear end. That is a legitimate possible "what is it" explanation. If "childishness" invoked towards anyone simply saying that ancient peoples may have liked to draw naughtiness as much as modern people, then you're going to have to delete a whole lot of archaeologists' explanations. You'll have to put every single image ever drawn into a platonic context. Not every archaeological find has to have ritualistic meaning. Folks from Pompeii to Egypt to India have put up saucy graffiti. Because a lot of people are and historically have been horny.

That stone's image looks like a butt. That could certainly be the reason it was carved. I can't fathom why any objective person could disagree with this. Or even more--wholesale censure it as a possible explanation.

So...help? I was trying to help. It looks like a butt. Graffiti existed/exists in multiple cultures. This is a possibility. Period.
