It's been 7 years since I was on treasurenet.com. I have to ask are we allowed to post metal detectors for sale? I'm thinking of selling my Bounty Hunter Big Bud Pro I bought back in the late 1980's. So I've been looking at Garrett detectors. Anyone have good advise on what model would be a good one just for ground searching and not underwater searching?

You should check out the Nokta Macro Impact and its multi-frequency features before you finalize your choice is all I can say. The non-pro version is a steal and you don't really need all the extra stuff anyway.
