Great point…..with good reason (something we should not forget even today), people distrusted banks and hid, buried treasures, large and small over the years……unexpected and or untimely deaths, wars, trips never to return are all reasons many of these remain and I would submit, mostly unknown……lost to memory…….how many now in areas without evidence of settlement…….
And this is where our fine feathered one, and his love boat accomplice guide us…..research, verify, seek info……..for in this, you optimize your chance of recovery.
