Awesome Mike!!! Looks like it’s going to have some red in that point.
I went today just to hot and I didn’t find even a flake.
I'm still sweating it, so far some brokes, cores, uniface tools and a damaged hammerstone. Some of this stuff I won't know what it is until cleaned

Heartbreaking for sure but at least you know something good might be waiting on the next rain.
I used to carry a 5 gallon bucket of water in my truck bed just to rinse them off. That’s a good pile of tools you have there

We tried to go out today but I'm with Creekside. To dang hot. Lasted about 40 minutes and called it a day. Sweating like a pig. Do pigs sweat?
If they don't they did today. It was 98 here and I took more breaks than usual; I went through 8 waters and 3 Gatorades. My bladder is paying the price.

South East Alabama, I think it's Clovis. It's 1 1/8 and pretty much looks the same cleaned. Even though it's broke it's in a frame.
Should be in a frame
I wonder what Clovis tools look like? Surely there are some tools out there that date the same age
