Really? This is interesting, and is very unlike coinstar’s previous take on customers. Maybe people have stopped using them because of their 12.5% fee. :dontknow:

I'm still not quite sure if the bank clerk knew what she was talking about....I went to the service counter of my grocery store and they didn't seem to know....my next step will be to talk to the store supervisor...if it's true that would be an extra coin sorter machine to use... I'll keep everyone posted...I might have spoken to soon...
 

I take coins to coinstar and then select the ecertificate option for Amazon. You are printed a code which you enter into your amazon account. No fee. Allows you to buy stuff on Amazon without a credit card. Shoot, you can even set up an Amazon account and not even use your real name. After having said all that I am disappointed with how Amazon handled a return.
