Today's Goodie's and a Little Scare......

Met up with Ty and Howard this morning at the house where I found my Box Plate a couple weekend's ago.Didn't find a whole lot there except one 3 ringer and a small buckle.Hunted for around 1 1/2 hr.'s and decided to head south and hunt the clover field at Antietam.This one field has been pounded to death,I could literally throw a rock and put it in "The Cornfield" it's so close.Here's a pic of today's find's





Found the back of a button,read's Waterbury Button co./Extra.....Maybe the back of an Eagle



This .69 Roundball was definitely part of a "buck-n-ball,the buck's fit right in line.....no mistaking!!!



And now the Scare.....I've found 3 decent coin's in the field's in the last 2 month's....
~1853 3 Cent
~1833 Capped Bust Half Dime
~1861 Seated Liberty Half Dime
I was thinking Flying Eagle,IH but not this.......

my buddy found a memorial today when we were in a field hunting, man his face looked so disapointed........

conrats on some more very cool finds! those damn memorials drive me insane sometimes! how the hell do they wind up so deep and out in the middle of nowhere!?

I wish I could answer that Kieth.....I dug a 1982 the other night at my house that was around 6-7" deep.

Doug,I walked around the field with that dirt clod.....easy 75 yd.'s until I got back to the truck,for a stinkin' memorial I TRULY HATE THEM!!!!!!

Thank's Bryce.....I took the Flying Eagle off the list earlier this year,I'll settle for a 63' IH to complete the "War" though.Best of Luck to ya Man!!!
