Today's Goodie's and a Little Scare......

Met up with Ty and Howard this morning at the house where I found my Box Plate a couple weekend's ago.Didn't find a whole lot there except one 3 ringer and a small buckle.Hunted for around 1 1/2 hr.'s and decided to head south and hunt the clover field at Antietam.This one field has been pounded to death,I could literally throw a rock and put it in "The Cornfield" it's so close.Here's a pic of today's find's





Found the back of a button,read's Waterbury Button co./Extra.....Maybe the back of an Eagle



This .69 Roundball was definitely part of a "buck-n-ball,the buck's fit right in line.....no mistaking!!!



And now the Scare.....I've found 3 decent coin's in the field's in the last 2 month's....
~1853 3 Cent
~1833 Capped Bust Half Dime
~1861 Seated Liberty Half Dime
I was thinking Flying Eagle,IH but not this.......

Looks like you got a nice little pile of lead and YES thats definitley the Ball from a "Buck N Ball" load.....plus I'm likin the knapsack hook alot! Good Job "brutha"!

Thank's Josh.....I think this field need's a second chance.Ty's 5.3 "loaner" has alot to do with it,pickin' up the tiniest signal, that make's a world of difference in these field's.Gain High.....Disc Low,all the way maxed.Thank's Brutha!!!!

kidding...that stinks, believe me i know the feeling...although i don't think i've expected something quite as old as a 3 center or half dime when i discovered it was in fact a memorial instead, but still....well hey good luck next time...and congrats on what you did pull. HH!

that sux man...... I hit a place last year..... had a pocket spill of sorts..... had 4 coins in one hole... 3 wheats and a war nickel..... well there was still a signal... I was hoping for a merc or something silver.... and man 2 inches deeper in the hole.. directly below the other coins... I hit a 1970's nickel... explain that one LOL

I found memorial's at Modern Miner's Plantation house after I found a 1/2 Real. Those things turn up everywhere. :P At least it got you excited for the moment.

As for the rest of the stuff - pretty cool. Shows you that there is still stuff out there.
