I've been at jewelry guy forever. Well at least for the last couple years. Lately though I've been checking the watches. Today was a watch day but I didn't know how good until I got home. There was a bag with watches in at all manual wind except for one of them but it has sterling silver bands. Nothing spectacular that I can see couple dollars maybe for each, except the Sterling liquid silver one might be $20? Then checking in the case was this one, I've never heard of it before but it said Swiss made and it was $4.99. So I took a chance on it. Also I'm going to picture a 14 K signed mabe pearl? It's only a single but it signed so that's worth a couple bucks. Also in the case was a 8.7 g 14 K bracelet for $7.99 and a ring sign Besty Johnson which looks to be around the hundred dollar price tag is well. Gonna wake up tomorrow and hit some yard sales but definitely go back and check the watches at the store after finding out about Krieger watches!

Well, I'M Swiss made, so I know anything Swiss made is special...:laughing7:
Way to go!

Very cool watch. Definitely a good buy. The key with watches knowledge. Knowing the difference between a quartz Seiko and a grand Seiko can be $$$$. Learn your brands. Also just because it Swiss made doesn't mean it's a high-quality watch. There are quite a few lessor brands that are not worth much.

I think where I consistently fail is when there's 20 of them in a case and being able to eyeball the good one. Like this when I looked at them first I walked away for 20 minutes Kinda so my eyes can refocus and then came back and took another look and this one stuck out to me.

Congrats on a great purchase! I wish my' Swiss made Wenger (of Swiss Army Knife fame) Diver's Watch was as valuable!

I always make two passes! It's amazing how much I miss the first time.
