Hello! Hoping this is the place we can get some answers. We acquired this piece in 2022 for display in a museum, but have not been able to determine much of its provenance. As you can see, the item was listed as from "1650" but the description was that it was part of a collection seized from a Florida drug dealer. While the seller didn't know more than that, our research seems to point to the Thomas Ruck collection. Our question is, is there a list somewhere of all the items sold at that auction? Or, since this was not that long ago, was anyone here present at that auction? There was a mention of a much longer beam for sale originally, and it's possible this is a piece of that, or perhaps a separate one. We want to make sure we are labeling this correctly!
