Gentlemen good morning, this week I did $50,000 in .50 cent pieces once again and the results were not
As good as the last round.

I found 31 1964 and before.

And 52 1965-1969.

All these pick ups were from BAC and all were in sealed boxes,
Just an off week I suppose.

I ALSO saw posts on those O'l eisenhower's people have been ordering looking for real silver dollars,so I asked at one bank if I could order $2000 she said no problem, ended up getting those gold ones parking garages like to force on you.

This just keeps getting better and better every week.

Clad Digester... you sound like someone who likes to challenge convention. As your results have shown, about the same average of appx 1 per box found. Same as most others would expect from half boxes.

So, given that double the number of quarters than half dollars were minted in the same period (2.2B Halves, 4.0B Quarters), are you interested in challenging the results for Quarters (currently 1 per 10 boxes on average) with a high volume test?

(True that Dimes have even high mintage - 9.3B, and currently produce on average 1 per box - 100 boxes of dimes would be mind numbingly difficult to process)

Disclaimer: Mintage figures quoted only from 1916-1964, and 1965-1970 for halves. Not including modern silver proofs, or older Barber Quarters, Dimes and Halves.

if you can do 50k in coins every two weeks, shouldnt you be able to afford a camera?

Just a reminder that the mods are watching all posts. Please do not make claims that one is not real or lying about finds.

I think that searching such volume would eat up a lot of time. How do you do it. I barley can keep up with the couple boxes I do.
