Once again, surprises from the 1800s site I've been hunting. I've found 1830s military buttons there but this was a first. Any ideas? I wouldnt even know where to begin researching it.Sorry for the bad pics and lack of domination. I'll add more later.

Amazing find .I can not comprehend how things end up where they do and it is even more surprising how we find those items that have been in the dirt for such a long time .
