Ends are brass ceramic tube string coming from top approx 3 and 1/2 by 1/2 in 0107191337_Film4.jpg

Just an update I have not called the police because I don't want my whole street being evacuated I really don't think it's a blowing up object the ends are not threaded they look like top to a salt and pepper shaker lids just smaller anywho I put it in the woods far from my house until I figure it out

Yea Don't Walk into a Police station with it in your Hand either.
you could end up Face first on the Floor :o

You know what I'd Do.

But instead of that, Choose a Spot you can dig a 1 or 2 Foot hole
& Bury it where odds are it will never be re-dug.

A Pond or Creek Bottom would be extra safe

Just go down to the station and tell them the truth. Where you found it. Tell them that you moved it. Tell them you didn’t realize how dangerous it was to do that and you don’t want to have the whole neighbourhood evacuated if it was something that might just be a prank. Show them the picture of it and let them deal with it.

This is one of those threads where the cops are probably reading it right now.

:hello: Stay safe out there officers!

You dont say...

Filters pick it up anyway, falls under the right parameters for a scrubber to flag it based on the type of website this is and the picture alone, then of course all the cool key words.

I would say screw it if it was my Team, been in the finders possession long enough to do the right thing, so it would make the perfect live training opportunity.

She knows something up when she starts seeing Postmen and Phone company workers on Sunday. LOL

They will go through the garbage too. I like to leave little notes for them.

OddJob, here is a story you might find interesting- I had a friend that needed a place to go, could not find porcelain, crapped in a paper bag, did not have a place to toss it, so he wrapped it up with duct tape into a softball shaped package and tossed on the floor passenger side of his car.

So, he got pulled over, speeding iirc. Police officer noticed the tape ball and asks "What's that"

My friend replied, " That's my S#!+"

The officer misunderstood the context. It was not a good day for anyone.

They don't have to pick it up.All data goes through the fusion centers. When a word is flagged, the data gets attention.

Okay so my husband will be home in a few days he was a firefighter for 33 years I don't usually discuss my finds with him bc he is not interested but will let him decide what to do. It is in no danger of being found by anyone.

I’m with Todd. No doubt it’s PVC and waxed ends to seal it. It’s a homemade explosive. Whether or not it’s volatile is a question for the LEO’s.
