Metal Detecting
went to 2 old houses scheduled for tear down. Everyone else seams to have detected there. But I gridded the entire yards and still found these. The 1899 IHP is beautiful, to find a coin this nice in the ground is a great thrill. Also not bad digging a 1954 D franklin that looks like it was minted and buried. 2 rosies and another beautiful 1941 S Merc. Plus 19 wheats, 4 Canadian cents from the 20-30's. Oh and almost 200 clad coins. You got to dig it all.

Thanks for looking and good hunting MackDog Photo on 4-9-18 at 3.12 PM.jpgPhoto on 4-9-18 at 3.12 PM #2.jpgPhoto on 4-9-18 at 3.14 PM.jpgPhoto on 4-9-18 at 3.15 PM.jpgPhoto on 4-9-18 at 3.15 PM #2.jpg

Excellent hunts ! That Indian and the Franklin are in unbelievable shape.

Now we're metal detecting. Congrats

Great finds. I'm guessing you spent a few days there? My back and knees would never be able to handle digging 200 clad in one day unless they were all in the same hole.

Excellent hunt, the IHP and Franklin are both mint state coins. You have yourself a real honey hole.
Congratulations

Those are some pretty sweet coins! Congratulations.

I'm curious. What makes you say everyone else seems to have detected there? Unless I knew guys who had, those coin totals would make me suspect I've hit virgin ground (or close to it) and that I should probably make another trip back to grid in another direction to sniff out what I missed.

I'd go back as well before and then after the tear down.
NICE FINDS!

Because there were neat plugs cut in places, sloppy hole barely covered and then holes just dumped out. I try to place everything back even in a demo house it helps get permission from others

Those coins are insanely well preserved. Very impressive finds! :notworthy:

That's the hunt we all strive for each time we head out. Congrats!

Ugh! Hate that. Karma has done her work and rewarded the deserving.

Every time I head out there is the hope of finding just one of those beauties you posted.........
Yep, that's why we all go out there. Congratulations on a wonderful hunt!!

ID SAY THATS A GOOD REASON..
