I spent my Sunday at Galveston Beach, and what an experience it was. I spent 5 hours hunting and ended the day with Vodka. I definitely learned one important thing.. Don't dig up every signal you come across or you're going to get very exhausted very quickly. 20200106_084954.jpg

Good job looks like you had fun playing at the beach

I agree with all the others. You have to dig all the signals to find the good items. You will be tired, but that's part of the game. If you start cherry picking signals, you will miss good items. Congrats on your finds.

Yeah gotta dig a lot junk to find the good stuff. But doing that makes finding the good stuff even sweeter. My junk pile far outways my nice finds pile. Like they say if it was easy all would do it. Keep at it nicer stuff will come.

Keep at it, goodies are hiding among the trash! :icon_thumleft:

Good start!

I have only been at it about a year and a half myself.

Welcome to the site. Pick up a cheap scoop, bolt a plastic handle to it and it will be easier to get the beach finds. Very seldom have to get down and back up that way. You will cover more ground, find more and hopefully score something awesome sooner. For normal digging get some sort of pin pointer. Major time saver. Watch a few goof tube videos. You will be able to see who does things smoothly and who doesn't. Learn from others mistakes and you will have plenty of fun. Good luck!
