People really like showing off their finds! More power to them, because that is what makes this hobby so much fun! However, during the process we all dig up our share of trash, such as those permanently-attached pull tabs that always get bend off and tossed! Ugh! Then there is the other stuff....

I've found socket wrenches, end wrenches, pliers, tweezers, wire, spoons, toy cars, and about everything else people seem to lose. I've even found a cow magnet (pseudobezoar) or two. Nonetheless, I'm curious about what others have found that are just as nefarious as a bezoar?

The sky is the limit!

My worst find ever!

A couple weeks ago I was detecting on the hillside above an old homesite. As my loop passed over a flat stone I got a nice solid high tone. Oh boy! This is it I thought. A cache hidden under a stone, baby! I lifted up the stone and there it was, a badly corroded tin cigar box! Yes! Yes! Yes! I found a cache! ...... But, the cigar box was empty! It was a hidden tin cigar box, but the owner had left it EMPTY! :(
